Facebook Groups
Private and public groups hosted on Facebook.
Integration features
Members will click “Open Group” on your portalry to launch Facebook Groups. Use this checklist to give them a smooth landing every time.
Portalry links to your Facebook Group with a clear Open Group button so members land in the right community.
What Portalry handles for you
- Detects facebook.com/groups links and labels them as Facebook Groups.
- Uses the group metadata (title/cover) when available.
- Keeps your group link handy for ongoing discussion and events.
Setup checklist
- Copy the group URL (facebook.com/groups/...).
- Confirm whether the group is public or private and note any approval steps in the Portalry description.
- If you host events or audio rooms, pin guidance in the group so members know where to go.
What still lives in the platform
- Portalry cannot approve members or manage group settings—those stay in Facebook.
- Posts, chat, and analytics remain inside Facebook.
Extras & best practices
- Use group rules or pinned posts to set expectations for new members.
- Share event links in Portalry so people can find the right group context.
