Google Meet
Browser-based video meetings with calendar-friendly links.
Integration features
Members will click “Join Meeting” on your portalry to launch Google Meet. Use this checklist to give them a smooth landing every time.
Portalry recognises meet.google.com links so members get a clear Join Meeting button.
What Portalry handles for you
- Detects meet.google.com URLs and labels them as Google Meet.
- Displays the meeting name from the page title when available.
Setup checklist
- Create or reuse a Meet link (e.g., https://meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij) and paste it into Portalry.
- If your Meet is domain-restricted, remind guests to use the correct Google account.
- Share any lobby/knock requirements or meeting etiquette in the portal description.
What still lives in the platform
- Portalry cannot admit guests or manage Meet recordings—handle those inside Google Meet.
- Attendance and chat logs stay in Google Meet.
Extras & best practices
- Encourage guests to join a few minutes early for device checks.
- Provide a dial-in fallback from Google Meet if you expect low-bandwidth attendees.
