Portalry recognises linkedin.com/events links and surfaces a Join Live button with your event name.

What Portalry handles for you

  • Detects LinkedIn Event and LinkedIn Live URLs.
  • Attempts to pull the event title and preview image from LinkedIn metadata.
  • Keeps your event link handy for recurring broadcasts.

Setup checklist

  1. Create your LinkedIn Event/Live and copy the public share link.
  2. Set visibility (public or attendees-only) and note any RSVP requirements in the Portalry description.
  3. Test the link in an incognito window to confirm public access if that is intended.

What still lives in the platform

  • Portalry cannot manage LinkedIn RSVPs or stream settings—handle those in LinkedIn.
  • Chat, reactions, and analytics remain in LinkedIn.

Extras & best practices

  • Share post-stream replays in Portalry for catch-up viewers.
  • Provide a backup link (YouTube/Twitch) if you expect heavy load or geo limits.
