Microsoft Teams
Video meetings and chat inside Microsoft 365.
Integration features
Members will click “Join Meeting” on your portalry to launch Microsoft Teams. Use this checklist to give them a smooth landing every time.
Portalry recognises teams.microsoft.com links so members see a clear Join Meeting button.
What Portalry handles for you
- Detects Teams meeting URLs and labels them as Microsoft Teams.
- Uses the meeting title from the page when available; otherwise falls back to the link name.
Setup checklist
- Create your Teams meeting and copy the full join link (e.g., https://teams.microsoft.com/l/meetup-join/…).
- If your meeting requires authenticated or tenant-only attendees, remind guests in the description.
- Add any lobby or etiquette notes to the portal description.
What still lives in the platform
- Portalry cannot admit guests or manage recordings/attendance—handle those in Teams.
- Chat history and meeting artifacts stay inside Teams/SharePoint.
Extras & best practices
- Share a dial-in number from your Teams invite as a backup for low-bandwidth attendees.
- Encourage people to join a few minutes early for device checks.
