Join Minecraft (Java) from Portalry

What you need before you join

  • Install Minecraft: Java Edition and sign in with your Microsoft account.
  • Have the server address and port from the Portalry link.
  • Use the game version the server expects (select it in the Minecraft Launcher).

Join in a few steps

  1. Note the server address shown on the portal (e.g., play.example.net:25565).
  2. Open Minecraft → Multiplayer → Direct Connection (or Add Server).
  3. Paste the server address, then select Join Server.
  4. Accept any resource pack prompt if the host requires it.

Helpful tips

  • If no port is shown, use 25565 by default.
  • Match your client version to the server to avoid handshake errors.
