what3words
Pinpoint meetup spots with three-word addresses.
Integration features
Members will click “Open Location” on your portalry to launch what3words. Use this checklist to give them a smooth landing every time.
Portalry surfaces your what3words link so attendees navigate to the exact meeting spot.
What Portalry handles for you
- Displays an "Open Location" button using your what3words link.
- Keeps the 3-word address visible so people can share or double-check it on arrival.
Setup checklist
- Find the precise meetup spot in the what3words app/site and copy its link (e.g., https://w3w.co/life.belly.rally).
- Add arrival notes in the portal description (entrance, floor, host phone number).
- Test the link on mobile to ensure it opens your preferred maps app for directions.
What still lives in the platform
- Portalry does not manage turn-by-turn navigation—maps and routing remain in your navigation app.
- If the venue moves, update the link so members do not follow outdated directions.
Extras & best practices
- Pair the location with an image or short video showing the entrance for busy areas.
- Include a backup meeting point in case the primary location is inaccessible.
