What Portalry handles for you

• Displays a dedicated "Join Meeting" button using your Zoom link.
• Fetches the meeting name and thumbnail when you first add it.
• Supports passcodes that are encoded in the Zoom invite URL (?pwd=).

Setup checklist

1. Create the Zoom meeting or webinar and copy the attendee join link.
2. Paste the link into Portalry when adding the portal. Include the passcode query string to keep the join flow seamless.
3. Set your waiting room, recording, or breakout preferences inside Zoom. Portalry respects whichever setting you choose.

What still lives in the platform

• Portalry cannot create or edit Zoom meetings—manage schedules in Zoom.
• Attendance in Zoom does not sync back to Portalry attendance.
• Zoom registration-required meetings will still route attendees through the Zoom sign-up form.

Extras & best practices

• If you host repeated sessions, use a recurring Zoom meeting so the join link never changes.
