Facebook Live
Livestream events on Facebook pages and event listings.
Integration features
Members will click “Join Live” on your portalry to launch Facebook Live. Use this checklist to give them a smooth landing every time.
Portalry highlights your Facebook Live or event link so members can join the stream quickly.
What Portalry handles for you
- Detects Facebook event and fb.me links and labels them as Facebook Live.
- Uses the Facebook page metadata (title, description, cover) when adding the portal.
- Provides a clear "Join Live" button so attendees land on your stream.
Setup checklist
- Create the Facebook event or schedule your Live, then copy the share link (facebook.com/events/... or fb.me/e/...).
- Set the privacy to Public if you want attendees without Facebook accounts to watch.
- Add stream timings and any interaction guidelines to the Portalry description.
What still lives in the platform
- Portalry cannot manage your stream settings, moderators, or chat—configure those inside Facebook Live.
- Attendance and reactions remain in Facebook; Portalry tracks RSVPs separately.
Extras & best practices
- Pin a comment with ground rules or Q&A format when you go live.
- Share a replay link in Portalry after the stream ends for catch-up viewers.
